Fun with Reporting World Cup Game Results

Germany   4 : 0   Argentina

Congratulations to Germany for displaying a very dominant game against Argentina.  See the summary report here.  I feel sorry for Argentine fans for their team had a very tough time today.  Well, there was not much they could have done.  Overall a great performance by the Germans.  Very well done.

The German side scored into the 3rd minute of the game from a low free kick carefully sent by Bastian Schweisteiger which was masterfully headed slightly deflecting the ball down and into Argentina's goal. Throughout the game, the German side was very consistent and quick in closing the spaces and not letting the Argentine players do much.  Germany was definitely the dominant and way more consistent team and fun to watch.  One would feel sorry for the Argentine fans though, especially with all the hoopla that Diego Maradona made about having the backing of God!

Amazingly, FIFA weg-page had it backwards for 10 minutes or so, or perhaps some Argentine fans hacked their way into FIFA's web-page.  Attached is a screen shot of FIFA's reporting Argentine as the winner.  But they quickly corrected it.  I am sure some others may have noticed this, but not sure if anyone else has captured this.  Enjoy!
